By 2023, we should see a production model of the Volkswagen ID.Buzz, which is the return of the VW van/bus to lineups as an all-electric option. Many have clamored for a camper option, and it appears we might get one.
The pop-up roof, and all camper features are indicated on a concept called the ID.California, which would then give the electric van and bus lineups cargo, passenger and camper van options. It'll certainly be a hit with many as the vehicle's inspiration is already an iconic one and we can't wait for the entire lineup to arrive here as early as 2023.
