I love my new VW!! Although at first it was not the car I intended on buying. I am very appreciative for Brandon and Sam taking time and working with my boyfriend and I to get a good deal on a great car. They were very patient with us by showing us multiple vehicles, was informative, letting us test drive, and coming up with the numbers for the cars. Meeting and discussing the financing part went smoothly and quickly. In the end we left happy with a new 2024 Tiguan. Thank you VW Honolulu.

I had an appt for 9:30a and showed up on time. I wasn’t helped until 9:50a. The staff was not friendly, just very matter of fact. When I asked to take the “shuttle” to my house, the lady told me she would give me the shuttle drivers contact once we were finished with the paperwork. Once she was done she handed me the business card of the shuttle driver and told me to call him. I called him immediately and he seemed confused as to why I was calling him, and not the VW staff. Then he told me he wouldn’t be there for 30 minutes. At this point I’ve spent so long here, and I’m taking a break from working to be here on a Wednesday. I decide to take an Uber because I don’t have time to wait around more. It’s frustrating because I could’ve called him and he could’ve been on his way WHILE I was doing the check in process. I just felt like making an appointment had no purpose, if I’m waiting around to check-in, and the shuttle service was not scheduled or explained to me when I explicitly asked for it over the phone when I made the appointment. Overall my experience was stressful and the staff was not friendly, and grumpy. I was very flexible, polite, and made no comments on how they were late, so they had no reason to be so aloof with helping me. I never leave reviews but the fact that most people take time out of work to get a diagnostic appointment during a week day, I think VW should be more mindful or explanatory of how the process works especially with the shuttle. Attentive customer care even though service desk had only one person on staff to handle EVERYTHING! Good explanation of what was to be serviced and possible length of time required to complete it, 3-4 days, due to only having 2 EV techs available. Great followup communication by text, email and phone! Only difficulty was booking my appointment: unable to by phone (due to short staffing), but managed to do so online easily.

The employees that were there seemed in a good mood, however when I tried presenting my discount that arrived through email sent by VW they preceded to advise me that they don’t do discounts on my service but most the time if not the majority of my visits I’ve used it and had no issues, so I don’t know if they just didn’t want to try and give to me or were not in the mood to do their service. Besides that they were attentive and helpful throughout the whole process and got my car back in good condition.

Drop off and pick up wait times are far too long and take too much time. Unfortunately, I am at the point I regret buying the car I did as I have had to come back to the service department multiple times. Again this weekend, the car had issues and I will need to return.
