    In the past, I was able to call in and speak to Katey to make my appointment, but was never able to reach a person, so I went online and scheduled my appointment. I arrived at my appointment early and checked in 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I decided to wait in the waiting room for the service to be completed. As I sat there I noticed that my car sat in the same place for nearly 1 hour. I asked the person who checked me in, how long she expected it to take for the service to be completed, and she said she'd check with the mechanic, which she did and let me know approximately 3 hours, to be done around 10:30 am, because I was going in to work right after. The maintenance was completed by 11:00 am topped off with a car wash, which didn't really impress me. I don't consider myself a negative person, and I tried to have a positive attitude, but after paying $1,191.05 for minimum service, I decided that I can't really afford to be a VW owner. I am amazed at the total cost of service and it's for a VW, not a BMW or other luxury vehicle. I went to a car dealer ship and was offered only $15K for a trade in which is $10K depreciation from purchase date in Sept 2023 and adding only 500 miles. Probably going to have to sell it as a private owner and see if I can regain some value on this purchase. Not a good visit and not looking to return.

    I felt very unpressured and comfortable when working with Braeden and Isaiah on looking at various VW models. I was not in the market for a VW but decided to look at my options and the reason I went to Honolulu VW was to see the Atlas Cross Sport. However, I was looking for a car that I could run around town with that had decent gas mileage and the Atlas was a larger in size than I expected. However, I came across the black Golf GTI SE on the lot and it caught my eye. I originally did not think much about the sporty GTI because I am 66+ years young, and felt it was for much younger drivers. I did look at several other non-VW vehicles, but the GTI stuck in my mind and was on the lower end of my budget. After doing a significant amount of online research and excellent reviews of the GTI and going on a test drive, I decided that the GTI was the car for me. I enjoyed working with Braeden and Isaiah on the purchase of the GTI, and after 2+ weeks of ownership, I truly enjoy driving the GTI and I definitely made the right choice. Jason Okuhama
